A Yorks family now has a renovated home thanks to the efforts of HAPI (Help Antigua's People in Impoverished conditions), with the project completed through the combined support of government ministers, community partners, volunteers, and private donors.
According to Antigua News Room, Inspector Raguette of Adopt A Family announced the completed renovation via social media, emphasizing that the initiative represents more than structural repairs. He described it as a broader effort to strengthen communities across Antigua and Barbuda.
The organization extended thanks to Prime Minister Gaston Browne and his administration, as well as Ministers Rawdon Turner, Charles Fernandez, and Mary Baltimore, all of whom contributed support to the project. The Social Protection Board and inmates of His Majesty's Prison were also recognized for their participation and labor.
Special recognition was given to Tony Greener, who donated the windows and doors used in the renovation. Photos shared alongside the announcement document the home's transformation from a weathered and deteriorated structure to a fully renovated residence.
Inspector Raguette affirmed that HAPI remains committed to its mission of transforming lives one house at a time, continuing to provide meaningful assistance to families across the nation who are most in need.
