The Ministry of Health is reminding residents that two community health centres are operating under extended hours to improve access to healthcare services across the country.
The Grays Farm Health Centre and Clare Hall Health Centre are both open from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The centres offer a range of services, including general medical consultations, acute wound care, and minor emergency care. Patients can also receive treatment for lacerations, acute asthma exacerbations, dehydration, and gastroenteritis, as well as care for uncontrolled chronic illnesses such as hypertension and diabetes.
The Ministry also noted that extended operating hours for the Brownes Avenue Health Centre and the Villa Polyclinic are planned but will be introduced at a later date. A revised timeline will be announced when it becomes available.
The Ministry of Health reaffirmed its commitment to improving access to quality healthcare services throughout Antigua and Barbuda.
