BARBUDA, Antigua and Barbuda — The Hopeful Hearts Foundation has arrived in Barbuda to carry out a community outreach mission running from July 3 to 5, 2026. According to Antigua News Room, the initiative reflects the Foundation's continued commitment to serving communities, supporting young people, and creating opportunities for meaningful impact across Antigua and Barbuda.
Earlier on Thursday, the Hopeful Hearts team travelled from Antigua to Barbuda carrying donated school supplies, toys, and clothing for families and children in the community.
Over the course of the three-day mission, the Foundation will undertake a range of community-focused activities. These include a school supplies donation, a community clothing drive, engaging activities for children, and the launch of a mural project at Holy Trinity Primary School in partnership with Chaneil Imhoff from WISH.
A key highlight of the visit will be an engagement with the Barbuda Youth Council, where National Youth Ambassador and Hopeful Hearts Foundation CEO and Founder Kristine Louisa will share her personal journey and speak on resilience, leadership, and youth empowerment.
The mission will also provide opportunities to connect with residents, community leaders, and young people through activities designed to strengthen relationships and foster positive community engagement.
"This mission represents what Hopeful Hearts is all about — showing up for communities, creating opportunities for young people, and serving with purpose," said Foundation President Kristine Louisa. "We are excited to be in Barbuda and look forward to making meaningful connections while contributing in a way that we hope will have a lasting impact."
The Hopeful Hearts Foundation has extended its gratitude to donors Barbuda Ocean Club, Senator Kendra Beazer, and Fastlane Construction, as well as the volunteers and supporters who helped make the outreach mission possible.
The Foundation has indicated it will share updates from Barbuda throughout the weekend.
