Police are investigating a shooting incident that left two teenage males with gunshot injuries on Wednesday evening.

At approximately 5:30 p.m. on July 1, officers responded to reports of a shooting on Christian Street. Preliminary investigations indicate that the two teenagers were walking along Armstrong Road when a lone gunman approached them. The suspect was dressed in black clothing with his face covered.

The assailant opened fire, striking both victims before fleeing the area on foot.

One victim, a 16-year-old, sustained a gunshot wound to the chest and remains hospitalized in critical condition. The second victim, a 17-year-old, suffered gunshot wounds to both legs. His injuries are not considered life-threatening, and he remains under medical care.

The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 6 inches tall with a slim build. Investigations are ongoing.
