Police are investigating a shooting that left two teenage boys injured in Grays Farm on Tuesday evening, according to Antigua News Room.
The victims, aged 16 and 17, sustained gunshot wounds during the incident on Station Street and were subsequently transported to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre for treatment. One teenager was struck in the chest, while the other suffered a wound to the thigh.
The shooting took place shortly after 6 p.m., prompting alarm among nearby residents who reported hearing several loud explosions believed to be gunfire. Both injured teens were rushed to hospital in private vehicles before emergency medical personnel assumed their care.
Investigators are working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. As reported by Antigua News Room, no information regarding suspects or a possible motive has been released, and no arrests had been announced at press time.
