A 67-year-old woman has reported being raped inside her home following an early morning break-in earlier last week, according to Antigua Observer.
The elderly woman stated she was awakened at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday to find a man entering her property. She said she attempted to secure her door with wires and warned the intruder before the attack took place.
As reported by Antigua Observer, the woman subsequently came forward to report the alleged assault to authorities.
