Antigua and Barbuda has committed a humanitarian contribution of US$150,000 to Venezuela in the wake of two devastating earthquakes that have claimed the lives of scores of people.

According to Antigua Observer, Prime Minister the Right Honourable Gaston Browne announced the pledge on Saturday, June 27, in a formal statement, confirming the funds would be directed toward relief efforts for those affected by the disaster.

In his statement, Prime Minister Browne described the contribution as modest but meaningful, underscoring Antigua and Barbuda's commitment to standing in solidarity with affected nations during times of crisis.
