A clinical psychologist is calling on families across Antigua and Barbuda to pay close attention to shifts in children's behaviour and moods, warning that such changes may indicate an underlying struggle.
According to Antigua Observer, Jonelle Walsh — a Clinical Psychologist and Co-founder and Events Manager of Mental Health Talk Antigua — says children and teenagers often express their difficulties through noticeable changes in how they act and feel.
Walsh noted that these behavioural and emotional shifts can serve as early indicators that a young person needs support, and that families are often best positioned to identify them early.
