The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda's Traffic Department has renewed its call for motorists to observe speed limits following a hit-and-run accident that left national cyclist Tahje Browne with serious injuries.

According to Antigua Observer, Browne sustained a serious leg injury after a vehicle struck him on Sir Sydney Walling Highway on Saturday, June 20th. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene.

Corporal Brendon Sutherland addressed the incident while speaking on Observer AM, using the occasion to reinforce the Traffic Department's message on the dangers of speeding on the nation's roads.
