Prime Minister Gaston Browne has called on member states of the Organisation of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS) to pursue a bold and proactive partnership with Panama, positioning the Central American nation as a natural gateway for strengthening trade, improving food security, and reducing the cost of living across the sub-region.
According to Antigua Observer, Prime Minister Browne made the appeal while addressing the 78th Meeting of OECS leaders, urging his regional counterparts to seize the opportunity that closer ties with Panama could represent for Eastern Caribbean economies.
