Residents of St. Philip's North are being invited to apply for scholarships to pursue certificate courses at the UWI Five Islands Campus Lifelong Learning Unit, offered by their Member of Parliament, Randy Baltimore.
According to Antigua News Room, Baltimore posted a notice announcing that a limited number of scholarships will be made available for courses in the institution's third-quarter programme, which runs from July 5 to September 11.
The 10-week certificate courses span a broad range of subjects, including strategic human resource management, project management, property management, crisis and risk management, leadership, Spanish, retail and merchandising, and artificial intelligence in the workplace.
Baltimore urged interested residents to complete the application form and submit all required supporting documents ahead of the deadline. Applications close at 4:30 p.m. on June 29.
The initiative aims to provide constituents with meaningful opportunities for professional and personal development through continuing education at the UWI Five Islands Campus.
