Two men are in police custody following coordinated search operations at separate premises in the Hatton area, the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda announced.
Officers from the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) Task Force and the Special Services Unit (SSU) executed search warrants at approximately 5:45 a.m. on Monday, June 22, as part of ongoing investigations into suspected jewellery theft.
During the searches, officers seized a quantity of jewellery, a mobile phone, and several other items. Both men were arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen goods.
Investigations into the matter remain ongoing.
