The Department of Youth Affairs has commended Financial and Business Consultant Anthony Stuart for delivering a presentation on Financial Management and Ethical Leadership as part of a youth development programme held on June 22, according to Antigua News Room.
The department also acknowledged the contributions of Kelly-Ann Boatswain and recognised programme sponsors the Sandals Foundation and Flow Antigua, whose support helped make the initiative possible.
Officials described the session as part of a continuing effort to equip young people with practical skills and knowledge, while promoting entrepreneurship, ethical decision-making and leadership development.
Stuart is an Antiguan-born financial and business consultant with more than 35 years of experience spanning finance, banking, insurance and business development. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Economics and a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance. He is also a Certified Public Accountant, a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist.
In addition to his consultancy work, Stuart serves as a lecturer in the School of Business and Management at The University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus.
His career spans both the public and private sectors, including positions within the Customs Department and Audit Department. He previously served as Executive Director of the St. John's Development Corporation and currently holds the role of Senior Financial and Business Consultant at Personal Financial Solutions, an Antiguan-owned consultancy firm.
The Department of Youth Affairs stated that the programme remains committed to fostering innovation, ethics and resilience among young people and entrepreneurs across Antigua and Barbuda.
