The collision involved a blue Toyota Vitz and took place during the early hours of the morning. Eyewitnesses at the scene reported that the force of the impact threw the cyclist from his bicycle, leaving him injured on the roadway.
Emergency medical personnel responded and transported the injured man to the Sir Lester Bird Medical Centre, where he is currently receiving treatment. The extent of his injuries has not yet been disclosed.
