Newly sworn-in Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle used his first address to the Lower House on Tuesday to demand parliamentary impartiality, setting the stage for a pointed exchange with House Speaker Osbert Richard Frederick, according to Antigua Observer.
The confrontation unfolded during the June 16th sitting, which was broadcast live on state media. Pringle called on the Speaker to chair proceedings without bias and to allow for meaningful debate on the floor of the House.
