A 55-year-old man has been remanded to prison after appearing in court in connection with a cannabis seizure valued at an estimated $476,000, according to Antigua Observer.
Dean Robert Gould appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel at the St John's Magistrates' Court, where the bench raised concerns that he may pose a flight risk.
As reported by Antigua Observer, the court's decision to remand Gould followed those flight risk concerns, resulting in his detention pending further proceedings.
