The Hopeful Hearts Foundation has announced the launch of its Summer Impact Series 2026, a four-week community service programme aimed at empowering young people to drive positive change across Antigua and Barbuda. According to Antigua News Room, the initiative is open to youth between the ages of 11 and 18.
The programme begins Saturday, July 25, 2026, and will run across four consecutive weekends. Participants will engage in a range of initiatives centred on volunteerism, leadership development, community engagement, and social impact.
Founded by youth advocate and National Youth Ambassador Kristine Louisa, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation has built its mission around inspiring young people to become active changemakers while addressing the needs of vulnerable communities throughout the nation.
Participants will take part in projects that include community outreach activities, environmental initiatives, educational support programmes, charitable drives, and volunteer service projects. Through these experiences, young people are expected to develop leadership skills, forge lasting connections, and contribute to meaningful causes.
"The Summer Impact Series is about showing young people that they have the power to make a difference right now," said Kristine Louisa, Founder and CEO of the Hopeful Hearts Foundation. "We want to create opportunities for youth to serve their communities, develop their leadership abilities, and understand the importance of giving back while building a generation of compassionate leaders."
The initiative forms part of the Foundation's broader commitment to youth empowerment and community development. Since its establishment, the Hopeful Hearts Foundation has impacted more than 1,000 individuals through educational programmes, charitable initiatives, school outreach activities, and community service projects.
Youth between the ages of 11 and 18 who wish to participate are encouraged to register early, as spaces are limited. All registrants must commit to attending all four weekends of activities.
