A man has been found guilty of burglary following a judge-alone trial held last week, according to Antigua Observer. The conviction relates to a break-in at the home of an 84-year-old woman.
Justice John Spencer presided over the trial and delivered the guilty verdict against Mark Willock after rejecting his defence. As reported by Antigua Observer, Willock had maintained that he was not responsible for the break-in, but the court was unconvinced by his claims.
Justice Spencer found the defence insufficient and ruled against Willock on the burglary charge.
