In a statement issued on Friday, the hospital described itself as "deeply saddened" by the loss, paying tribute to Dr. Radhakrishnan as a dedicated and professional physician whose contributions touched the lives of patients, colleagues, and the wider community.

"Dr. Radhakrishnan served our patients and community with dedication and professionalism, and his loss will be felt by colleagues, patients, and all who had the privilege of working alongside him," the statement read.

The medical centre acknowledged the significant impact Dr. Radhakrishnan had on those who worked with him throughout his career, recognising his unwavering commitment to healthcare in Antigua and Barbuda.

Hospital officials extended their condolences to his family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues. "At this difficult time, we extend our sincere condolences to his family, loved ones, friends, and colleagues," SLBMC said.
