The ongoing expansion of the University of the West Indies Five Islands Campus is generating fresh opportunities for growth and development across Antigua and Barbuda, according to Antigua News Room.

Minister for Education Hon. Daryll Matthew is urging residents to take full advantage of the momentum, noting that the project is strengthening access to higher education while simultaneously opening doors for local contractors, suppliers, and businesses to participate in what he describes as a transformative national investment.

As the campus continues to grow in scale and capacity, the Minister is encouraging Antiguans and Barbudans to position themselves — both economically and professionally — to benefit from the opportunities the expansion presents.

As reported by Antigua News Room, Minister Matthew shared his message in a video statement, outlining the broader national significance of the UWI Five Islands development and its potential to drive long-term progress for the twin-island state.
