The Ministry of Works has introduced smaller concrete trucks to improve access to roadwork sites where larger vehicles struggle to maneuver.
Works Minister Maria Vanessa Browne said the new trucks have already begun delivering concrete to locations previously constrained by limited space. The smaller vehicles are being deployed on projects involving the construction of sidewalks, curbs, and drains, enabling work to proceed more efficiently in confined areas.
The ministry says the addition of the trucks will support ongoing infrastructure improvements across Antigua and Barbuda by providing greater flexibility at worksites where access has historically been a challenge.
