Organisers of a public art installation outside the Antigua Recreation Grounds have invited residents to participate in a bottle cap mural designed to build anticipation for the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026, according to Antigua Observer.
The project, which encourages members of the public to contribute a bottle cap to the growing mural, is centred on education and community engagement ahead of the landmark international event.
Project organiser Calvin Pilgrim said the mural was designed to draw the public into the CHOGM 2026 conversation in a tangible and creative way. Diplomats have also participated in the initiative, adding their own caps to the display.
CHOGM 2026 is scheduled to be hosted by Antigua and Barbuda, marking a significant moment for the twin-island nation on the global diplomatic stage. The bottle cap installation represents one of several community-oriented efforts to raise awareness and foster local pride ahead of the meeting.
