The Ministry of Works has announced a planned overnight road closure on All Saints Road, with major infrastructure works scheduled between Buckley Line Roundabout and Herberts Junction.

The closure takes effect from 7:00 pm on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, and will remain in place until 7:00 am the following morning.

Detour routes will be in operation for traffic travelling in both directions. Motorists heading out of town should turn left at D'cravinz Restaurant and follow the designated detour to regain access to All Saints Road. Those travelling into town should turn left immediately after Herberts Junction and follow the detour accordingly.

Flag persons will be stationed along the route to assist with traffic flow. Certain sections of the detour are designated as one-way traffic zones, as indicated on official signage and maps distributed by the Ministry. Signage along the route will guide commuters travelling in either direction.

Local access will be maintained for residents in the vicinity of the works. All businesses in the area will remain open during the closure period.

Motorists are urged to follow all instructions from flag persons and adhere to posted signage, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating in close proximity to the works area. Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans to allow for possible delays.

The roadwork forms part of the broader All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda.
