A 34-year-old Tyrells resident has been arrested and charged in connection with a break-in at a store on Lower All Saints Road.

Tristan Armstrong faces multiple charges, including Breaking and Entering and Larceny, Malicious Damage, Resisting Arrest, and Escaping Lawful Custody. He is expected to appear before the court today to answer to the charges.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda announced the charges stem from an incident reported on May 29, when officers responded to a break-in in progress at Turki and Son Store on Lower All Saints Road.

Among the items allegedly stolen were eleven 43-inch JVC televisions, one 32-inch Royal television, two power drills, one vacuum cleaner, and one tool kit. Police subsequently recovered all of the stolen items.

The Police Administration expressed sincere gratitude to members of the public for their continued support and cooperation in assisting law enforcement efforts.

Business owners are advised to strengthen security at their establishments by investing in adequate lighting, surveillance systems, and other crime prevention measures.
