The Ministry of Works has advised the public that major infrastructure works will be carried out on All Saints Road (ASR) between Buckley Line Roundabout and Herberts Junction.
A traffic detour will be implemented from 7:00 pm on Friday, June 5th, 2026, until 7:00 am the following morning.
Motorists travelling out of town should turn left at D'Cravinz Restaurant and follow the detour to regain access to All Saints Road. Those travelling into town should turn left immediately after Herberts Junction and follow the detour back to the road.
Flag persons will be stationed along the route to assist with traffic flow. Certain sections of the detour are designated as one-way traffic zones, as indicated on the official map, and signage along the route will guide commuters travelling in either direction.
Local access will be granted to residents in the vicinity of the works. All businesses in the area will remain open during the works.
Motorists are urged to follow all instructions and exercise caution, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating in and around the works zone. Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans and allow for possible delays.
The roadwork forms part of the All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Members of the public with telephone queries may contact the Project Implementation Management Unit at 562-9173.
