Students and staff at Bendals Primary School are set to benefit from improved water storage capacity after Junior Chamber International (JCI) Antigua presented the institution with a donation of water tanks. According to Antigua News Room, the contribution forms part of the organisation's ongoing Adopt-A-School Initiative, a programme designed to support educational institutions through practical assistance and community engagement.
The donation was spearheaded by JCI Antigua's Youth Empowerment Committee and was formally presented to school representatives during a brief ceremony.
JCI Antigua President Collet Gordon used the occasion to extend best wishes to students preparing to sit their Common Entrance Examinations, encouraging them to approach the milestone with confidence and determination. Youth Empowerment Committee Chairman Jawan Jackson also addressed those gathered, emphasising the importance of education, perseverance, and community support in helping young people reach their full potential.
