Twelve members of the newly constituted Antigua and Barbuda Festivals Commission Board have been formally sworn in at Government House, marking a significant step in the government's efforts to strengthen the management and long-term sustainability of the nation's major cultural events.

According to Antigua Observer, the appointments represent the first board appointments made under the Festivals Commission Act 2026, which established the Commission as a formal body overseeing the country's flagship cultural celebrations.
