Prime Minister Gaston Browne joined students of Villa Primary School and project partners on Thursday to add recycled bottle caps to a public mural being created ahead of the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting (CHOGM) 2026.
According to Antigua News Room, the mural is organised by the CHOGM 2026 Secretariat and led by Artistic Director Calvin Pilgrim and Stacy Russell. Constructed entirely from recycled bottle caps, the project aims to promote sustainability and community involvement as Antigua and Barbuda prepares to welcome leaders from across the Commonwealth.
CHOGM 2026 is scheduled for November 1–4 and is expected to bring together representatives from all 56 Commonwealth member countries.
