ST. JOHN'S, Antigua and Barbuda — Police are investigating the sudden death of 75-year-old Carl Noel Lashley, whose body was discovered on Lower All Saints Road on Wednesday afternoon.

Lashley, listed as a man of no fixed address, was found lying on the sidewalk near the Pillars of Saints New Testament Church of God shortly after 1:00 p.m. on June 3. He was dressed in a black sweater, green shirt, long black pants, and a pair of black Crocs.

Officers who responded to the scene conducted preliminary inquiries and observed no visible signs of injury or violence on the body. A medical doctor later attended the scene and officially pronounced Lashley dead at approximately 2:35 p.m.

The Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda stated that investigations into the circumstances surrounding the death remain ongoing.

The Police Administration extended sincere condolences to the family, relatives, and friends of Mr. Lashley.
