Minister of Education Daryll Matthew has extended best wishes to Grade 6 students across Antigua and Barbuda as they sit their National Assessments over two days.
According to Antigua.news, the minister issued a message to students acknowledging the dedication they have demonstrated throughout their primary school years and encouraging them to approach the examinations with confidence.
"You have worked hard to reach this stage, and this is your opportunity to showcase the knowledge, skills, and determination you have developed throughout your primary school journey," Matthew said.
The minister urged students to remain focused and trust in their preparation as they complete the assessments.
"Believe in yourselves, stay focused, and give it your very best effort. Remember, success comes from preparation, perseverance, and confidence," he stated.
Matthew also expressed pride in the nation's students and said he looks forward to marking their accomplishments once the assessments conclude.
"Good luck to every student. We are proud of you and look forward to celebrating your achievements," he added.
Thousands of Grade 6 students nationwide are participating in the National Assessments, which play a critical role in determining their transition to secondary school.
