The Ministry of Works has advised motorists that major infrastructure works will be carried out on All Saints Road (ASR) between Buckley Line Roundabout and Herberts Junction, with an overnight detour coming into effect from Tuesday, June 2, 2026.

The detour will be in place each night from 7:00 pm until 7:00 am the following morning.

Motorists travelling out of town should turn left at D'cravinz Restaurant and follow the detour to regain access to All Saints Road. Those travelling into town should turn left immediately after Herberts Junction and follow the detour back onto the road.

Flag persons will be stationed along the route to assist with traffic flow. Certain sections of the detour are designated one-way traffic zones, as indicated on posted signage and the accompanying map. Signage along the route will guide commuters travelling in either direction.

Residents living near the works will be granted local access. All businesses in the area remain open.

Motorists are urged to follow all instructions from flag persons and to exercise caution, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating in the vicinity of the works. Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans to allow for possible delays.

The roadwork forms part of the broader All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Telephone queries can be directed to the Project Implementation Management Unit at 562-9173.
