CARICOM Youth Ambassador Chrysean Jarvis, joined by a team of youth leaders, presented a donation to Course #50 of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda last week in observance of Menstrual Hygiene Day, according to Antigua.news.

The donation was directed specifically at supporting women within the recruit cohort and included toiletries, sanitizers, disinfectants, and feminine hygiene products. The initiative aimed to promote menstrual hygiene awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding menstruation.

Beyond the material contribution, Jarvis engaged the recruits in dialogue intended to foster partnerships and address issues affecting young people in society.

Jarvis was supported by members of the National Youth Ambassador Corps, which operates under the Department of Youth Affairs, as well as Ibrahim Construction Ltd.
