Investigators with the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda are pursuing leads following an early-morning break-in at a business establishment on Lower All Saints Road, according to Antigua.news. All stolen items were recovered shortly after the incident.
Officers responded to the scene at approximately 3:00 a.m. on Friday, May 29, after receiving a report of a break-in in progress. The Royal Police Force's Office of Strategic Communications (STRATCOM) confirmed the details of the incident.
Upon arrival, officers observed three male suspects dressed in dark clothing exiting the building. The men fled in separate directions before police could apprehend them. Two of the suspects were described as approximately six feet tall, while the third stood around five feet eight inches.
The suspects had removed a significant quantity of goods from the premises, including eleven 43-inch JVC televisions, one 32-inch Royal television, two drills, a tool kit, and a power vacuum cleaner. All stolen property was subsequently recovered just outside the building.
Police say the investigation remains active as officers work to identify and locate those responsible for the break-in.
