Police are investigating two separate larceny incidents that occurred within 24 hours of each other — one a vehicle break-in overnight in All Saints, the other a brazen chain snatching in broad daylight at Johnsons Point, according to Antigua Observer.
As reported by Antigua Observer, the first incident took place sometime between 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening and just before midnight on the same night. Details surrounding that break-in remain under active investigation.
The second incident involved a chain snatching carried out in open daylight at Johnsons Point, underscoring concerns about street-level crime occurring in public spaces across the island.
Authorities have not yet announced any arrests in connection with either case. Investigations are ongoing.
