Minister of Information Communication Technologies, Utilities and Energy Melford Nicholas has reaffirmed his commitment to advancing Antigua and Barbuda's ICT, utilities and energy sectors following a high-level strategic meeting with senior ministry officials.
According to Antigua.news, the meeting — held on Friday — brought together Heads of Departments, Managers and Senior Officials as the Ministry moves to align its priorities and reinforce its mission heading into 2026. Discussions centred on improving inter-departmental collaboration, enhancing operational efficiency and strengthening service delivery to the public.
Nicholas made clear that innovation and teamwork will remain cornerstones of the Ministry's agenda going forward.
"Our commitment to enhancing the ICTs, Utilities and Energy sectors is unwavering. It is essential that our plans reflect our collective responsibility to innovate and meet the needs of our community," the Minister said.
He also emphasised the need for open communication between departments to ensure all divisions remain aligned with the Ministry's broader national objectives.
