The United States has announced more than $8 million in new support for Caribbean forensic laboratories, with Antigua and Barbuda among the beneficiaries of the significant funding package.
The announcement was made at the second Caribbean Regional Forensic Leadership Summit, held in Saint Lucia from May 20 to 22. The US Embassy in Bridgetown, Barbados, confirmed the commitment, which will provide advanced synthetic drug detection equipment, technical training, and enhanced regional collaboration.
