One of two travellers who arrived in Antigua and Barbuda carrying malaria has died, the Ministry of Health confirmed on Friday. The announcement came as the ministry simultaneously moved to strengthen the country's defences against the ongoing Ebola outbreak affecting parts of Central and East Africa.
Minister of Health Michael Joseph made both disclosures public, raising concerns about the twin public health threats now facing the nation.
