A 33-year-old Freetown resident has been sentenced to one year and nine months in prison after pleading guilty to unlawful possession of a modified flare gun and ammunition, according to Antigua Observer.
Cavel Brown appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel on Tuesday for sentencing. He was represented in court by attorney Sheffield Bowen.
Brown had entered guilty pleas to the charges prior to the sentencing hearing.
