Opposition Leader Jamale Pringle and Barbuda Member of Parliament Trevor Walker have issued an apology for their unavoidable absence from two significant parliamentary and ceremonial occasions.
Both MPs are currently off island and will miss the first sitting of the House of Representatives following the General Election, scheduled for May 18, 2026. They will also be absent from the investiture of Senator Parker.
The apology was issued by way of a press statement from the Office of the Hon. Jamale Pringle, Leader of the Opposition and Political Leader of his party, acknowledging the significance of both occasions and expressing regret that circumstances prevent their attendance.
