Authorities are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of an elderly man whose body was recovered from the McKinnons Salt Pond, located north of the Mystic Beach Bar.
According to Antigua Observer, officers from the Criminal Investigations Department, along with members of the Serious Crimes Unit and the Forensic Evidence Unit, responded to the scene at approximately 5:45 p.m. on Friday.
The circumstances surrounding the man's death remain under investigation as authorities work to determine how he came to be in the pond.
