A firearm has been seized and two individuals arrested following an early morning vehicle checkpoint in Bendals on Thursday, according to Antigua Observer.
As reported by Antigua Observer, officers conducted the stop-and-search operation at the junction of Bendals Main Road and Bathlodge, commencing at approximately 7:00 a.m. The operation resulted in the discovery of an unlicensed firearm, leading to the detention of two suspects.
Both individuals were arrested on suspicion of unlicensed firearm and ammunition possession.
