Approximately 20 students from secondary, college, and university institutions across Antigua and Barbuda took part in an essay competition hosted by the Antigua Barbuda Reparations Support Commission (ABRSC). According to Antigua Observer, the competition has now concluded, drawing participants from multiple levels of academia throughout the twin-island nation.
Themed "Reparatory Justice: Reflection and Projection," the competition challenged students to critically examine the meaning, relevance, and future of reparatory justice within Antigua and Barbuda. The initiative reflects the ABRSC's broader mission to engage younger generations in the ongoing national and regional conversation around reparations.
