A worker employed by the National Solid Waste Management Authority (NSWMA) was killed on Tuesday after being struck by a bus while performing grass-cutting duties along All Saints Road.
According to Antigua News Room, preliminary reports indicate the incident occurred as the man worked on the roadside. He sustained severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The fatal collision left fellow workers and nearby residents shaken as news of the tragedy spread through the area.
Police and emergency responders were dispatched to the scene, and investigations are ongoing to determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
