The Ministry of Works has advised the public that major infrastructure works will be carried out on All Saints Road (ASR), between FADI Building Supplies and Fresh and Eazy Supermarket.
Single-lane traffic on the affected stretch will expire at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, May 12th, 2026. A full detour will then be in effect until 7:00 am the following morning.
Motorists travelling out of town should turn right at Flex Hardware Store to rejoin All Saints Road via the Heritage Preschool road. Those travelling into town should turn left at D'Cravinz to access St. John's via Herberts.
Flag persons will be stationed along the route to assist with traffic flow. Certain sections of the detour operate as one-way traffic zones, as indicated on signage along the route. Local access will be granted to residents in the vicinity of the work site.
All businesses in the area remain open during the works. Motorists are urged to follow all instructions and exercise caution, as heavy-duty equipment will be operating near the work site.
The road works form part of the broader All Saints Road Project being carried out by the Government of Antigua and Barbuda. Stakeholders are asked to adjust their travel plans to account for possible delays.
