Three masked gunmen held up a barbershop on Bendals Road at gunpoint on Friday afternoon, firing two rounds into the air as they fled the scene. According to Antigua Observer, no injuries were reported in connection with the brazen attack.
The incident took place at approximately 1:30 pm at the establishment, where the proprietor was present at the time of the robbery. The assailants, described as masked, were armed with firearms and discharged two rounds during their escape.
As reported by Antigua Observer, information received by their newsroom confirmed that despite the discharge of weapons, no one was hurt during the attack.
Authorities have not yet issued a public statement on the matter. The investigation is ongoing.
