A 23-year-old man from Gray's Farm has been remanded to His Majesty's Prison after facing multiple serious charges stemming from a shooting on Queen Elizabeth Highway.
According to Antigua News Room, Nathaniel Santana of Hatton appeared before Chief Magistrate Ngaio Emanuel at the St. John's Magistrate's Court on Thursday. He faces charges of shooting with intent to murder, discharging a firearm in a public place, and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
Police allege that Santana shot at a 32-year-old Gray's Farm resident during an incident on Sunday, April 26. Investigators have not released further details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
Santana has been remanded until June 18, 2026, when the matter is expected to return to court. Police have confirmed that investigations remain ongoing.
