A disturbing discovery outside the National Public Library of Antigua and Barbuda has raised serious concerns after a member of the public captured video footage showing what appeared to be a trail of blood near the entrance of the facility.
The video, which has since circulated widely online, shows blood stains stretching along the ground outside the library building. The footage also reveals signs of an apparent disturbance at the scene — an outdoor seating bench overturned near the entrance and pieces of wood scattered across the area directly outside the library's doors.
The man recording the footage expressed visible alarm as he documented the scene.
It remains unclear what took place at the location or whether anyone sustained injuries. No official statement had been issued up to press time, and it is unknown whether police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Authorities are expected to determine whether the scene is connected to an act of violence, vandalism, or another incident.
