Costume Island Antigua is appealing to the public for assistance in identifying a man caught on closed-circuit television breaking into its Newgate Street store late Sunday night. According to Antigua News Room, the incident occurred at approximately 23:50 on Sunday, 26 April.
The suspect is described as approximately 5 feet 7 inches tall, fair in complexion and of medium build. He bears a "TRUE LOVE" tattoo on his right forearm.
At the time of the break-in, the man was wearing a red and white ALP shirt, black trousers, a red New York cap, black tennis shoes and a grey, black and white ski mask.
A quantity of items was stolen during the incident, including jewellery, sunglasses, a silver HP laptop and various other accessories.
Authorities are urging anyone with information to contact the Criminal Investigations Department at 462-3913 or call 728-7170. The public is reminded that receiving stolen goods is a criminal offence.
