Prime Minister Gaston Browne has retained his St. John's City West constituency seat in Thursday's General Elections, according to Antigua.news, securing a commanding victory over his United Progressive Party (UPP) rival.

Browne, who leads the Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP), defeated UPP candidate Alister Thomas, capturing 80% of votes cast in the constituency.

The win marks Browne's seventh consecutive victory in St. John's City West, a seat he first claimed in 1999.
