The Antigua and Barbuda Electoral Commission (ABEC) has officially declared the results of the General Elections held on April 30, 2026, confirming winners across sixteen of the country's seventeen constituencies. According to Antigua News Room, the declaration was issued in accordance with Section 30(5) of the Representation of the People (Amendment) Act 2001.
The Antigua and Barbuda Labour Party (ABLP) dominated the results, securing fourteen seats across the island of Antigua. Prime Minister Gaston Browne retained his St. John's City West seat, while senior ministers including Melford Nicholas (St. John's City East), E. P. Chet Greene (St. Paul), and H. Charles Fernandez (St. John's Rural North) also held their constituencies.
Other ABLP victors include Maria Browne in St. John's Rural East, Michael Joseph in St. John's Rural West, Daryll Matthew in St. John's Rural South, Philmore Benjamin in St. Mary's North, Dwayne George in St. Mary's South, Anthony Smith Jr. in All Saints East and St. Luke, Michael Freeland in St. George, Rawdon Turner in St. Peter, Randy Baltimore in St. Philip North, and Kiz Nathaniel Johnson in St. Philip South.
The United Progressive Party (UPP) claimed its sole victory through Jamale Pringle in All Saints West. On the island of Barbuda, Trevor Walker of the Barbuda People's Movement (BPM) won the Barbuda constituency.
The results for one constituency were not included in the declaration. ABEC Chairman H.E. Arthur G. B. Thomas signed the official declaration, which was issued from the Commission's offices on High Street, St. John's.
